Pettisville FFA members earn exclusive award


Three members of the Pettisville FFA chapter were selected to join an exclusive list of members to be awarded the American FFA Degree at the 91st National FFA Convention & Expo, held Oct. 24-27 in Indianapolis, Ind. Hannah Meller, daughter of Gene and Donna, Jacob Dennis, son of John and Susan, and Lynnsey Crouch, daughter of Jeremy and Kim, collected the gold American FFA Degree Key plus a certificate from the National FFA president. Hannah’s Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAE) included various animal projects, research projects, and job placement. Jacob also did research projects for part of his SAE, plus raised corn and soybeans and worked for the family farm. Lynnsey owns beef cattle, and works at several farm and ag business locations, including the home farm. Each year, the National FFA Organization honors the FFA members who show the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
