The Ohio Republican Party has an important announcement for absentee voters.
The party recently mailed a slate ticket with incorrect information about how to return a voted ballot. Absentee voters cannot return ballots to their voting place. Ballots returned to the polling place will not be counted.
It must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 5 or returned in person to the Board of Elections, 135 Courthouse Plaza in Wauseon before the polls close at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in order to be counted.
Absentee voters are urged to complete their ballots as soon as possible and return them in person to the Board of Elections or make sure it is postmarked no later than Monday to ensure it arrives on time to be counted.
If you haven’t requested a ballot, please check the voting hours at the Fulton County Board of Elections – www.fultoncountyoh.com/boardofelections – and vote in person before the election or go to the polling place on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Voters can find their polling place on the website or call the Board of Elections at 419-335-6841 if unsure.
