Nineteen motorists were cited during a Traffic Enforcement Blitz designated Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over Blitz and conducted Aug. 17-31 by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. The citations were issued for the following violations: 15 speed; one driving under suspension; one adult seat belt; one no operator’s license; and one for two headlights required. Deputies made 59 traffic stops and also issued 48 warnings.
The sheriff’s office will conduct a Traffic Enforcement Blitz from Sept. 9-16 during various hours in various locations around the county. Deputies will look for distracted driving, seat belt, speed, and impaired driving violations.
Traffic blitzes are funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
