The Wasepi Bluegrass Gospel Singers, a bluegrass Gospel group, will be presenting a concert at the North Dover United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 4 p.m. The church is located north of Wauseon on State Highway 108, two miles north of Ohio Turnpike Exit 34 and the Fulton County Fairgrounds.
The Wasepi Bluegrass Gospel Singers have been performing and witnessing their faith since 1974. They started by singing in their home church, the Wasepi Mennonite Chapel, in Wasepi, Mich. as the Wasepi Singers. Other churches and organizations began calling them to sing and they became known as the Wasepi Bluegrass Gospel Singers.
From the beginning, their goal has been to promote the Gospel. Their services include singing, testifying, and the joy of the Lord.
The group includes wonderful singers and musicians who play guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, dobro, and doghouse bass. Come at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25, to be blessed with their music. There is no admission charge. There is plenty of ADA parking and access to the church. A freewill offering will be taken. For more information, call 419-923-4111.
