FCCC students earn medals


Four County Career Center had five students just return from the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) 2018 National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Receiving National Silver Medals are, from left: Bailey Bowen (Edgerton), Fashion Construction; Sabrina Page (Liberty Center), Interior Design; and Natalia Flores (Archbold), Life Event Planning. Receiving National Gold Medals and placing fourth in the nation are Coralee Flanary (Hicksville), Job Interview; and Kathryn Ewers (Edon), Interior Design. There were over 5,000 members from across the nation in attendance. Members competed at the district, and state levels before they advanced to the national level. Family, Career & Community Leaders of America is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and addresses important personal, family, work, and social issues through family and consumer sciences education. Early Childhood Education instructor, Susan Myers and Interior Design instructor, Lisa Hall attended the conference with them.
