Four County Career Center is hosting a “Senior Citizens Day” at the school on Nov. 16. Senior citizens are invited to join the community for a day of activities and lunch. The day will last from 9:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
If your group cannot make it for the whole day, they are welcome to either come in the morning from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. (including lunch) or in the afternoon from 12:15 – 2:45 p.m. (including lunch).
Soup and sandwich will be available for a small cost of $3 per person over the lunch hour.
A total of seven activities will be available for the experienced visitors to participate in throughout the day. Each activity will last approximately thirty minutes.
These activities include a polish and arm massage for the ladies and a woodworking project for the men; the art of making a bow for a small flower; creating a winter bird feeder; basic health checks; small pet care; cupcake decorating and Bingo.
The Career Center Student Ambassadors and Career Explorers will be available to assist in these activities and perform as guides throughout the day.

Registrations will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 30, so sign up early to ensure a space. Parking will be available in the front parking lot off State Highway 34 and enter the building through the front doors.
