4:51 p.m. – An unknown driver of a vehicle towing a camper at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, Dover Twp., cut a corner too sharply and sideswiped a parked camper owned by James Partin, Swanton. The front passenger side corner was pushed in and opened the seams on Partin’s camper.
Sunday, Sept. 13
1:29 p.m. – Jennifer S. Heinze, 44, Morenci, Mich., was northbound on State Highway 108, Dover Twp. Ronald H. Szeve, 72, Husdon, Mich., was southbound on State Highway 108 and attempted a left turn to travel east on the entrance road of the Ohio Turnpike. Heinze’s vehicle struck Szeve’s vehicle on the front passenger side causing Szeve’s vehicle to roll over onto the driver’s side. Those injured were transported to medical facilities. Szeve was cited for failure to yield making a left turn.
Monday, Sept. 14
7:36 a.m. – Pamela S. Palmer, 49, Archbold, was operating a school bus and was eastbound on US 20A, German Twp. Palmer’s bus was stopped to pick up two students when Margaret R. Bornholdt, 47, Archbold, who was eastbound on US 20A, failed to stop and rear ended the school bus. Those injured were transported to medical facilities. Bornholdt was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Wednesday, Sept. 16
4:10 p.m. – An unknown driver of a tractor trailer was southbound on County Road 19, German Twp. The vehicle struck a railroad gate crossing arm at the Norfolk & Southern Railroad.
