Museum Hours

The Fulton County Historic Society museum hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 229 Monroe St., Wauseon.

Admission rates are $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for children, with members free.

Thursday Community Meal

Thursday, Oct. 1, starting at 5 p.m. at Christ UMC, 215 N. Fulton St., offers an evening meal and fellowship to the public. Offered by the Wauseon Ministerial Association, the Wauseon Lions Club and other volunteers.

The folks from St. Like Lutheran Church will be in the kitchen. Offering food, fellowship and fun.

Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wauseon Downtown Association has a farmers’ market on North Fulton Street across the street from the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce.

Fresh produce and other items from area producers available. Get it fresh at the farmers’ market.

Fish Fry

Friday, Oct. 2 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. St. Caspar Catholic Church Knights of Columbus Council #8829. Serving baked and fried fish, potatoes, side dishes with beverage and dessert. Adults $8.50 and $4.50 for children 7 to 12 years old.

The Fulton County Historical Society will benefit from the event.

SAL Breakfast

Saturday, Oct. 3 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. SAL and American Legion Post #265, 1105 N. Shoop Ave. Unlimited pancakes, French toast, eggs to order, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon and toast. Adults $7.75, $4.50for ages 9-12 with paid adult, free for children 8 years and younger with paid adult.

Fish Fry

Saturday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. VFW Post #7424, 1133 N. Ottokee St. Serving unlimited fried fish, baked potato, Cole slaw and all the fixins for $10.

Thrift Sale

Wednesday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 9 at First Christian Church, 129 E. Elm St. Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.; Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bag Day Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Bingo at Legion

Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. American Legion Post #373. 5939 State Highway 109. Eggs any way, sausages, pancakes, biscuits and gravy with toast, coffee and juice. Adults $7.25, children ages 6 to 12, $4.50 and under 3 is free.

Bingo every Tuesday. Doors open at 5 p.m.; lightning rounds at 6 p.m.; regular bingo at 7 p.m. Public welcome.

Turkey and Dressing

Friday, Oct. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. Delta American Legion Post #373. Offering baked steak or roast turkey and baked dressing with potatoes, vegetable, roll and butter, pie and beverages. $8 per person, dine-in or carry out.


Professional Wrestling Benefit

Sunday, Oct. 4, starting at 5 p.m. Our Lady of Mercy Church, 409 E. Main St. Tickets are $5, with 100 percent of proceeds go towards purchase of a handicap van for the Blaker family of Morenci, Mich. The family have two members who are handicapped and the current van, which could accommodate one person in a wheelchair, is now unsafe.

Professional wrestlers, who are donating their time, will fight for the Blaker family van.

Pumpkin Fest

Friday, Oct. 2 Pettisville FFA Alumni Pumpkin Fest at Pettisville Local School. Unlimited pancake and sausage supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Auction at 7 p.m., with kids games all night.
