Wednesday, Aug. 26

10:30 p.m. – Thomas L. Yoder, 17, Holland, Ohio, was westbound on County Road N, Amboy Twp. As he approached the intersection with County Road 7 at a high rate of speed, he lost control of his vehicle, ran the stop sign and crashed into the ditch at the northwest corner of the intersection. Yoder was cited for failure to control.

Sunday, Aug. 30

11:21 a.m. – Shawn A. Moden, 37, Delta, was northbound on State Highway 108, Dover Twp., with a travel trailer hitched to his vehicle. Moden attempted to slow down for a northbound vehicle ahead of him and he locked up his brakes. The vehicle went left of center, over corrected and went off the right side of the roadway. The travel trailer snagged a Toledo Edison guy wire.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

9:16 a.m. – Michael L. Morenzetti, 44, Marion, Iowa, was northbound on State Highway 108, Dover Twp., and was stopped due to traffic. A vehicle operated by Ciara M. Lichtenwald, 18, Fayette, was also northbound on State Highway 108 failed to stop and rear ended Morenzetti’s rig. Those injured were transported to medical facilities. Lichtenwald was cited for assured clear distance ahead – speeding.

Thursday, Sept. 3

5:04 p.m. – Denzel Q. Herron, 22, Toledo, was operating a rented truck on the fairgrounds, Dover Twp. When he attempted to turn north on a paved surface, he clipped a parked concession trailer.

Friday, Sept. 4

8:54 p.m. – Lee E. Fruth, 33, Wauseon, was southbound on State Highway 108 approaching County Road D, Clinton Twp. His vehicle struck one of two dogs in the roadway. The cocker spaniel belonged to Leeann Saaf, 11515 County Road B.

Saturday, Sept. 5

3:55 p.m. – Sebastian Ochs, 4, Metamora, was operating his wheelchair southbound on a lane in the parking area of the Fulton County Fairgrounds, Dover Twp., when his wheelchair struck a parked vehicle, owned by Bailey L. Double.

7:22 p.m. – Cherri L. Maddock, 30, Swanton, had come to a stop in her private, shared driveway at 1525 County Road 4, Swancreek Twp., when a vehicle driven by Janice K. Goin, 43, Swancreek Twp., backed her vehicle northbound, was unaware of Maddock’s vehicle. Goin’s vehicle struck Maddock’s vehicle.

Sunday, Sept. 6

10:31 a.m. – Alvin D. Shipman, 58, Perrysburg and Wesley J. Sickmiller, 30, Wauseon, were both northbound on State Highway 108, Dover Twp., with Sickmiller following Shipman. Shipman’s vehicle stopped to turn left into a driveway and was rear ended by Sickmiller’s vehicle. Sickmiller’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and continued north. Sickmiller’s vehicle struck a mailbox owned by the Fulton County Fairboard. Sickmiller was cited for assured clear distance ahead – speeding.

Monday, Sept. 7

12:33 a.m. – A vehicle owned by Darlene Riggenbach of Stryker was parked at the fairgrounds, facing west in area C, row 9, Dover Twp. Her vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle on the left rear corner. Riggenbach was unaware of the damages, drove home and discovered the damage. Riggenbach returned to the fairgrounds to file a report.

8:04 p.m. – A vehicle owned by Sarah R. Wenzinger of New Bavaria, Ohio, was parked at the fairgrounds, facing east in lot K-14, Dover Twp. Justin L. Armstrong, 21, Stryker, was north of Wenzinger’s vehicle. As Armstrong pulled out to head south, his vehicle struck the right rear of Wenzinger’s vehicle. He continued his turn, overriding the front end of Wenzinger’s vehicle.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

7:52 p.m. – Elizabeth J. Long, 18, Holland, Ohio, was attempting to park in front of 105 W. Morenci St., Lyons. Long pressed onto the accelerator pedal instead of the brake and struck the house at 121 W. Morenci St.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

2:10 p.m. – A vehicle owned by Ryan L. Gigax was parked facing west at the fairgrounds, Dover Twp., when an unknown driver struck the passenger side of Gigax’s vehicle and fled the scene.

Thursday, Sept. 10

4:06 p.m. – Kristin A. Riley, 47, Archbold, was stopped on State Highway 66, near Charles St., German Twp., when a vehicle driven by Kevin N. Short, 53, Wauseon, who was northbound on State Highway 66 was unaware of Riley’s vehicle and rear ended Riley’s vehicle. Short was cited for assured clear distance ahead – speeding.

Sunday, Sept. 13

3:30 a.m. – Andrew J. Huerta, 23, Archbold, was northbound on State Highway 108, Clinton Twp., when the driver claimed to swerve to avoid deer in the roadway. Huerta’s vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, onto a ditch embankment. He was unable to return to the roadway and lost control, struck a phone junction box and stopped in a bean field. Huerta was cited for failure to control.

3:31 a.m. – Andrew J. Huerta, 23, Archbold, attempted to leave the bean field as described above. He attempted a J turn which caused further damage to the bean field. When he neared the roadway, he struck the ditch embankmet with the front of his vehicle and eventually came down on another phone junction box.

10:16 a.m. – Linda L. Seiler, 47, Fayette, was eastbound on County Road L, Franklin Twp., when her vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.
