Delta library offers events

The Delta Public Library has a bevy of events planned throughout December and January:

Christmas Coloring Contest. Winners chosen from age groups 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10. Use crayons, paints or markers; embellishments (cotton balls, pom poms, glitter, etc.) encouraged. Entries must be 100 percent completed by child entering contest. Entries must be returned by Dec. 20 to qualify for prizes.

Canvas Painting, Monday, Dec. 11, 5-7:30 p.m., library activity room. Cost, $12.50. Registration required. Open to ages 9 and up; limited to 16 people. Children must have parental supervision.

Morning Storytime, Dec. 12, 19, 26, 10:30 a.m. Geared to children age 3-5. Register at Children’s Desk.

Lego Club, Saturday, Dec. 16, 10 a.m.-noon, all ages.

Yoga Class, beginning Monday, Jan. 8, 5 p.m., Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon. Basic yoga postures, breathing, and relaxation techniques. Yoga mat required. Class limited to 10 people. Register at or call 419-330-2735 for information and cost.

Book Club, Thursday, Jan. 18, 2 p.m., Main Street Bakery located next door. First selection: “Before We Were Young,” by Lisa Wingate.

Teen Advisory Board, Wednesday, Jan. 17, 3:30-5 p.m. New oppportunity. Volunteer, enjoy snacks and games.

Anime Club, Wednesday, Jan. 24, 3:30-5 p.m. Watch anime, talk manga, have a Japanese snack.
