A Fayette man wanted for making a bomb in his home last month was taken into custody on Monday.
Kevin R. Brown, 27, of 407 S. Fayette St., has been transferred to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in Stryker, where he is being held on $100,000 cash bond. During his intial court appearance by video relay, Brown requested court-appointed counsel.
He was wanted on an arrest warrant for the manufacture of an explosive, a second-degree felony. The Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant on his home Nov. 22 and found weapons, drug paraphernalia, and a homemade bomb.
A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in Fulton County Western District Court.
