Fayette man faces arrest for homemade bomb

A state arrest warrant has been issued for a Fayette man after authorities found a homemade bomb in his home.

The Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant Nov. 22 on the home of Keith R. Brown, 27, of 407 S. Fayette St. MAN Unit Commander Max Nofziger said the team found weapons, drug paraphernalia, and the explosive device. The device was removed by the Toledo Bomb Squad Division.

An arrest warrant for the manufacture of an explosive, a second-degree felony, was issued for Brown the same day.

He was previously charged twice with possession of drug paraphernalia and once with possession of marijuana.

The MAN Unit was also assisted at the scene by Fayette police.
