Adult Basic Education courses offered

The Four County Career Center Aspire Program is offering another session of free Adult Basic Education Courses at locations in Wauseon and Defiance. The courses include High School Equivalency (HSE) test preparation (formerly known as the GED), which is a recognized alternative to a traditional high school diploma.

Through the Aspire program, adults practice skills that will allow them to transition to their next chapter in life. Topics include reading, math, and language to help earn an HSE/GED, enter a skills training program, enter college, obtain a job, and/or retain a current job. Classes are free and materials are furnished.

All participants must complete an orientation prior to attending class. The next orientation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Four County Career Center. Registration is required. Interested students should call 419-267-2242 or email for information or to register.
