Delta football stymied by McComb


The Delta football team was shut out for three quarters in a 51-6 loss at perennial power McComb Friday night.

They finally got on the board with a 35 yard touchdown run from Dylan Rogers in the fourth quarter. McComb was led by quarterback Cam Morris who threw for three TDs and added another on the ground.

Delta was outgained by McComb 486-36. Rogers was the bulk of their offense as he finished with 49 yards rushing on eight carries.

The Panthers are at Toledo Rogers in week two.
