Kinsey Finnen returns for Delta volleyball

The Delta volleyball team is hoping to get above the .500 mark this season after last year finishing 9-13.

They will be led by returning letter winners Kinsey Finnen (second team All-NWOAL, honorable mention District 7), Abby Freeman, Madi Nadolny, Raelyn Hutchinson and Katlyn Schneider.

A strength for the Panthers is the return of Finnen, who filled up the stat sheet in 2016.

Weaknesses are that they are young and lack varsity experience.

The Panthers will also have to replace departed letter winners Mary Miller (first team All-NWOAL, honorable mention District 7), Emily Clifton (honorable mention all-league), Destiny Hildreth Darian Elendt and Madison Zimmerman.

Newcomers to the team are Reagan Rouleau, Breanna Elendt, Brooklyn Green, Morgan Helminiak, Alexa Tenney and Sydney Creps.

After a home game against Fayette tonight, Delta visits Lake on Tuesday.
