BRYAN – The Wauseon diving team scored a total of 218 points to take first at the Greater Northwest Ohio Aquatic Conference (GNOAC) Championships last Friday. Finishing second at the meet was the team from Toledo with 118 points, then came Bryan with 95, and Napoleon with 65.
The Indians capped off an undefeated season with the win.
Earning first place finishes for the Wauseon girls were Kaelynn Hartsock in the 8 and under division and Alyssa DiSanti in the 9-10 division. Runner-up for the girls were Halle Stevens in 8 and under, Kali Albright in 9-10, Bailey McGuire 13-14 and Kennedy Nation 15-16.
Placing first for the boys were Tristan Burkholder in the 8 and under division, Lucas Biddle in 9-10 and Carter Hite 13-14. Getting second were Kyle Snow in 8 and under, Nalu Neifer 9-10, Kohen Nafziger 11-12 and Tony Schweinhagen 17-18.
