Archbold, Wauseon grab Northwest Ohio Athletic League all-sports titles

With the conclusion of the 2016-17 NWOAL spring sports season, Archbold and Wauseon have tied for the boys all-sports championship and Archbold has won the girls all-sports championship.

Final boys standings are: Archbold 51.5, Wauseon 51.5, Bryan 46.5, Liberty Center 40.5, Patrick Henry 37.5, Swanton 36.5, Delta 34 and Evergreen 22.

NWOAL boys fall team champions include Archbold (golf and soccer), Bryan (soccer), Wauseon (cross country), and Patrick Henry (football). Winter team champions include Bryan (bowling) and Wauseon (wrestling and basketball). Spring team champions include Archbold (baseball and track).

Final girls standings are: Archbold 40.5, Bryan 39, Swanton 32.5, Wauseon 30, Liberty Center 29.5, Patrick Henry 25.5, Evergreen 25.5 and Delta 17.5.

NWOAL girls fall team champions include Swanton (soccer), Patrick Henry (volleyball) and Liberty Center (cross country). Winter team champions include Bryan (bowling) and Archbold (basketball). Spring team champions include Archbold (softball and track) and Bryan (softball).
