Northwest Ohio Athletic League announces all-league softball teams

The NWOAL all-league softball list was released recently with many area players receiving high honors.

For Archbold, Alyssa Ziegler and Gabby Nafziger were named first team all-league. The Blue Streaks’ head coach Andrea Thiel received coach of the year honors.

Making first team all-league for Delta was Emily Clifton. Megan Simon and Jamie VanLoocke of Evergreen were first team, as well as Alisa Shelt of Wauseon.

Natalie Herder of Patrick Henry was named NWOAL Player of the Year.
