Delta volleyball will look to their five returning letter winners as they hope to compete for a league title in 2015.

Coach Kelly Finnen states that having many players returning with varsity and club experience is a strength for her team.

Coming back for the Panthers are Jenni Davis (honorable mention All-NWOAL), Jessi Davis (second team All-NWOAL), Mary Miller (honorable mention All-NWOAL), Kensey Finnen, Morgan Gilders and Miranda Pelland. However, gone for the Panthers is a total of six letter winners.

Those who departed via graduation were Kaylee Finnen, Brigan Wymer (second team All-NWOAL), Brailee Green, Haley Wanless, Dannica Culler (honorable mention All-NWOAL) and Alexa Lauch.

“(We) Look to be competitive in every match and in our league,” said coach Finnen of her squad.

Hoping to help the Panthers improve are promising newcomers Madi Zimmerman, Destiny Hildreth, Emily Clifton, Dariah Elend and Hayley Callahan.

Delta begins the season on the road as they travel to Lake tonight. Their home opener is Thursday against Fayette.
