Leppelmeier sisters make first team

The Buckeye Border Conference recently released their all-league list for girls basketball.

Pettisville had a pair of first teamers in Morgan Leppelmeier and Alexa Leppelmeier.

Making second team all-league was Mataya Rufenacht of Fayette.

Honorable mention all-league for Fayette was Haley Perdue. Nichole Foor and Sami Tilley of Pettisville were also named honorable mention.

First team

Felicity Jackson, senior, Hilltop; Makayla Hayes, senior, North Central; Morgan Leppelmeier, sophomore, Pettisville; Alexa Leppelmeier, senior, Pettisville; Haley Doehrmann, junior, Stryker.

Player of the Year- Taylor Haines, senior, Stryker.

Second team

Hannah Kaylor, senior, Edon; Mataya Rufenacht, sophomore, Fayette; Lauren Cooley, sophomore, Montpelier; Jaelyn Lyons, sophomore, Montpelier; Alyssa Swank, senior, North Central.

Honorable mention

Fayette: Haley Perdue.
