Northwest Ohio Athletic League all-league girls basketball teams announced

With all teams out of the tournament, the Northwest Ohio Athletic League has announced its all-league girls basketball teams.

In the county, Archbold had the most players make first team all-league as both Kierstyn Repp and Kamryn Hostetler held that honor. Repp was selected as the player of the year in the league.

Receiving coach of the year honors was Swanton mentor Eric Oakes.

Also making first team all-league were Maddie Mattimore of Delta and Haley Nelson of Swanton.

Four of the six players on the all-league second team were also from the area. They are Morgan Miller of Archbold, Abby Freeman of Delta, Alyssa Noe of Evergreen, and Sidney Taylor of Swanton.

First team

Maddie Mattimore, junior, Delta; Haley Nelson, junior, Swanton; Allye Minor, junior, Bryan; Katie Wagner, senior, Patrick Henry; Kamryn Hostetler, junior, Archbold.

Player of the Year- Kierstyn Repp, senior, Archbold.

Coach of the Year- Eric Oakes, Swanton.

Second team

Morgan Miller, senior, Archbold; Abby Freeman, sophomore, Delta; Sidney Taylor, junior, Swanton; Kennedy Lamberson, sophomore, Bryan; Alyssa Noe, senior, Evergreen; Courtney Rosebrook, senior, Patrick Henry.

Honorable mention

Archbold: Andi Peterson, Emie Peterson, Alyssa Ziegler.

Delta: Hayley Callahan.

Evergreen: Abi Borojevich, Hannah Herr.

Swanton: Cydney Christensen, Ally Hendricks.

Wauseon: Rylee Campbell, Brianna Castellano.
