Kierstyn Repp of Archbold receives highest honor in District 7

Many local girls were named all-district when the District 7 Basketball Coaches Association announced their teams last week.

Archbold’s Kierstyn Repp was named the Player of the Year in Division III. Blue Streak mentor Brian Ziegler got coach of the year honors.

Haley Nelson of Swanton and Delta’s Maddie Mattimore joined Repp on the first team.

Second team District 7 were Abby Freeman of Delta, Alyssa Noe of Evergreen, and Kamryn Hostetler of Archbold.

Pettisville had a pair of first teamers in Division IV in Alexa Leppelmeier and Morgan Leppelmeier.

For Wauseon, Brianna Castellano made second team District 7 in Division II.

First team

Coach of the Year: Tom Kontak, Oak Harbor.
