Local boys basketball teams learned where they will open up tournament play as sectional draws were announced Sunday.
In the Bowling Green District in Division II, Wauseon is the top seed. The Indians will take on the winner of Maumee and Bowling Green in the sectional final Friday, March 3 at Anthony Wayne beginning at approximately 8 p.m.
The county teams in Division III are broken up over the Napoleon District and the Toledo District.
Swanton is the sixth seed in the Toledo District and the Bulldogs will take on Lake at Bowsher Wednesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will face Ottawa Hills on March 3 at 6:15 p.m. for the sectional championship.
Evergreen is also in the Toledo District, and the Vikings will travel to Oak Harbor where they will play Otsego on March 1 at 6:15 p.m. The winner gets Cardinal Stritch March 3 at 6:15 p.m. in the sectional championship.
Archbold is the second seed in the Napoleon District, where the Blue Streaks will take on either Paulding or Delta at Wauseon on March 3 at 6:15 p.m. Paulding and Delta square off in the sectional semifinal March 3 at 6:15 p.m. at Wauseon.
In the Division IV Napoleon District, Pettisville takes on rival Fayette at Swanton on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at approximately 8 p.m. The winner will face third seeded Holgate March 3 at Swanton at 8 p.m. in the sectional final.
