Pettisville girls basketball earns share of Buckeye Border Conference crown

Pettisville picked up a decisive 43-22 victory at Hilltop in BBC girls basketball Thursday. The win clinched them at least a share of the league crown.

The Blackbirds shot 42 percent (18 for 43) from the floor, all while limiting the Cadets to a 23 percent (8 for 35) shooting effort. They also outrebounded Hilltop 25-21.

Pettisville’s Alexa Leppelmeier led all scorers with 16 points, while Nichole Foor added 9.

Pettisville (15-5, 11-1 BBC) hosts Liberty Center tonight before closing out the regular season at Toledo Christian on Thursday.
