Blackbirds stymie North Central

North Central was held to just nine first half points, as Pettisville bested the Eagles on their home floor Tuesday in girls basketball, 55-33.

Pettisville shot 48 percent (22 for 46) from the floor to 35 percent (11 for 31) by North Central.

Alexa Leppelmeier had 19 points and Morgan Leppelmeier 14 to lead the Blackbirds. North Central was led by Alyssa Swank who had 13.

Pettisville (10-2 overall, 6-1 BBC) is on the road at Fayette Friday.
