Area golfers receive high marks

Ian Radabaugh of Archbold was one of three Blue Streak golfers to be named first team All-NWOAL.

The county was well represented on the Northwest Ohio Athletic League all-league golf first team that was released recently.

Archbold’s team, a squad that qualified for state, had three representatives make first team. Those golfers were Brandon Miller, Ian Radabaugh and Trevor Rupp.

Archbold coach Mike Rosebrook was named NWOAL Coach of the Year.

Others making first team were C.J. Moser of Wauseon, Jay Vann of Delta, and Austin Luce of Swanton. Moser was the golfer of the year in the league.

First team

C.J. Moser, Wauseon; Brandon Miller, Archbold; Jay Vann, Delta; Trevor Rupp, Archbold; Austin Luce, Swanton; Ian Radabaugh, Archbold.

Second team

Peyton Lamberson, Bryan; Kade Kern, Archbold; Case Hartman, Bryan; Connor Shirkey, Bryan; Owen Beaver, Bryan; Carter Swank, Swanton.

Honorable mention

Archbold: Hudson Childs, Mitch Grosjean.

Delta: Drew Mattin, Chase Sandusky.

Evergreen: Travis Mersing, Zach Lumbrezer.

Wauseon: Trent Armstrong.
