Wauseon’s Seneca Wyse races to the finish in the 100 meter dash at an NWOAL tri-meet on Tuesday. The Indians defeated Evergreen and Swanton in both the boys and girls meets.

Wauseon hosted Evergreen and Swanton in an NWOAL track and field tri-meet on Tuesday. The Indians swept both the boys and girls competitions.

Wauseon was led in the boys meet by Caleb Blanchong who won both the 800 and 3200 meter run.

Evergreen got individual titles from Hunter Van Wert in the 100m and Josh Laux in the 300m hurdles. Swanton’s Dylan Gilsdorf cleared 5’6” to win the high jump.

In the girls meet, Wauseon’s Seneca Wyse was victorious in the 100m, 200m and 400m. Halen Mealer added wins in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.

For Swanton, Kyleigh Koback won the 800m, Julia Smith the high jump and Hannah Grabke the pole vault.

Evergreen’s Bailie Sutter was victorious in the long jump.
