Lady Indians dropped by Pilots

Although they shot 50 percent from the field and outrebounded Ayersville 25-17, Wauseon fell to the Pilots at home in non-league girls basketball action Monday, 61-48.

The Indians held an 18-15 edge after the first quarter.

Wauseon’s Karli Penrod notched 14 points while Anna Marshall chipped in with eight. Kylee Tressler had 25 points for Ayersville, Molly Hammersmith 16 and Brittany Addington 11.

The Indians return to league action tonight when they travel to Evergreen to take on the NWOAL leading Vikings.
