Fulton County Fair horseshoe tournament highlights


Ruth and Virgil Rite continued their horseshoe success by placing first and second in Class A at the Fulton County Fair on Sept. 7. They also won the Ohio State Championships this year.


Designated as the Champion of Champions at the fair were John Winzeler, left, and Scot Johnston.


John Winzeler, left, and Bill Osterhout took first and second in the Class B horseshoe competition at the fair.


Ruth and Virgil Rite continued their horseshoe success with the Ohio State Championships, followed by Class A first and second place at the Fulton County Fair on Sept. 7.

Winning in Class B was John Winzeler while Bill Osterhout was runner-up. In Class C, Calvin Baker got first and Ron Norwood second.

The Class D winner was Mike Tanner while Jordan Kopietz took second. Designated as the Champion of Champions were Winzeler and Scot Johnston.

In the boys division of the junior tournament, Devon Richard placed first and Dalton Richard was runner-up. Dakota Blosser finished first and Madison Baughman second in the girls division.
