The county was well represented on the Northwest Ohio Athletic League all-league volleyball teams that were announced recently.
Lexi Sauber of Wauseon received player of the year honors. Making first team All-NWOAL as a specialist for the Indians was Maddie Trejo.
League champion Swanton had Cydney Christensen, Sidney Taylor, and Julia Smith each make first team all-league. Macey Rupp was first team all-league for Archbold, while Hannah Herr of Evergreen made it as a specialist.
Swanton head coach Kyle Borer, who led the program to its first ever league title this season, was selected as the league’s coach of the year.
