All-league girls soccer announced

The Northwest Ohio Athletic League released their all-league honors for girls soccer recently, and many local players were recognized.

Archbold had four make first team all-league as Brooke Kohler, Emie Peterson, Kamryn Hostetler and Andi Peterson each held that distinction. In fact, Kohler was the player of the year in the league.

Archbold coach James Kidder was named coach of the year.

Delta’s Alayna Mitchell also made first team All-NWOAL. Receiving first team honors for Evergreen was Asia Gensch.

Making first team all-league for Swanton were Haley Nelson and Ally Hendricks. Avery Giguere and Jaydelin Vasvery of Wauseon also made the first team.
