The following individuals were sentenced recently by Judge Jeffrey Robinson in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.
Wayne Woodring, 74, of Delta previously pleaded guilty to assault. On March 11, 2017, he caused physical harm to a police officer while in the performance of his official duties.
He was sentenced to two years of community control, and ordered to: pay prosecution costs and counsel fees; provide a letter of apology to the officer; and participate in 10 sessions of ON TRAC and successfully complete all recommendations.
Failure to comply could result in six months in prison.
John Boyd, 60, of Toledo previously pleaded guilty to theft. On Feb. 18, 2010, he stole property being $500 or more but less than $5,000.
He was sentenced to two years of community control, and ordered to pay prosecution costs and counsel fees, and serve 40 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with credit for time served.
Failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
Maria Dewitt, 33, of Wauseon previously pleaded guilty to theft. On Feb. 25, 2017, she stole cash and jewelry.
She was sentenced to 12 months in prison at the Regional Diversion Program at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in Stryker, and was ordered to pay prosecution costs, court-appointed counsel fees, and $2,436.13 in restitution to the victim.
