Swanton schools demolished


A piece of history in Swanton is coming down as the demolition of the school buildings on Cherry Street continues. Some significant architectural aspects of the 1904 building have been saved for use elsewhere. Students have been moved out of the former middle school building on Cherry Street with the former Crestwood Elementary housing grades K-4 and the former Park Elementary housing grades 5-8 for the upcoming school year.
