The annual Air Tour sponsored by Fulton Soil and Water Conservation District, Fulton County Airport, Naves Aviation Ltd, Countryside Farms Drainage, Falor Farm Center, Rychener Excavating, and Andre Land Forming will be held Saturday, August 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The flights will start from the Fulton County Airport located at 9460 County Road 14, north of County Road J. A rain date is scheduled for August 19.
You choose the direction of your flight; you may fly over your home and farm or other areas of interest. Flights will be approximately 20 minutes. Planes have a seating capacity of three or five passengers, so bring your neighbors to fill the plane. Bring your camera; pictures of your home and farm from the air are great! Conservation of the land is easily spotted from the air and this is a beautiful time of year to see it.
No reservations are taken. This is a charitable event as per FAA regulation 91.146. The Life Flight helicopter will be available for viewing, if it is not needed. Evergreen High School FFA and Alumni will be serving breakfast and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. So, bring the family out to view Fulton County’s beautiful natural resources from the air.
