Stryker man sentenced for drugs


The following individuals were sentenced recently by Judge Jeffrey Robinson in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.Chris Martin, 44 of Stryker previously pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. On Feb. 17, 2017, he possessed cocaine.

He was sentenced to two years of community control, and ordered to: be assessed for drug/alcohol treatment and successfully complete any recommended treatment and aftercare; and surrender his driver’s license for two years with work privileges.

Failure to comply could result in eight months in prison.

Jesse Brown, 21, of Liberty Center previously pleaded guilty to burglary. Between March 18-20, 2016, he trespassed in an occupied structure.

He was sentenced to 12 months in prison, and ordered to pay $321 restitution, prosecution costs, and court-appointed counsel fees.
