Students earn college honors

The following local residents have been honored by their respective college or university.

Eden Eisel of Metamora and Ellie Hayati of Wauseon were named to the Dean’s List at Miami University. They are ranked among the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division for the second semester.

Gavin Morton of Archbold was named to the Miami University spring 2017 president’s list. He was ranked among the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for the second semester.

Megyn Christensen of Swanton has been named to the Lake Erie College Spring 2017 Dean’s List. To be eligible, a student must earn a 3.50 or higher grade point average in a given semester.

Morgan Dickman of Swanton has been named to the Baldwin Wallace University Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. Students who receive at least a 3.6 GPA for seven or more graded hours in a single semester are named to the Dean’s List.

Ashleigh S. Allison, Hannah Lynn Hoops, and Jesse Douglas Sanders of Wauseon were named to the Dean’s List at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind. for the spring semester. Students must earn a 3.5 GPA to be on the list.

Cassidy Barnes of Wauseon earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, and joined David Hench of Wauseon, Elizabeth McCullough of Swanton, and Raegyn Price of Delta on the University of Akron’s spring Dean’s List. Eligible undergraduate students must maintain a semester GPA of 3.5 – 3.999, and be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.

Daniel J. Sauder of Wauseon was named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify, a student must achieve a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
