Road work signs stolen in Swanton

The Fulton County Crime Stopper program is looking for help from area residents in solving the following crimes.

Authorities are investigating thefts that occurred at County Roads D and 1 and County Roads C and 1 in Swanton. On May 22, two “Road Work Ahead” signs, two “One Lane Ahead” signs and four “Flagger Ahead” signs were stolen.

The value of the stolen signs is $2,400.

They are also investigating a theft that occurred at 12200 State Highway 120 in Lyons. On May 26, suspect(s) broke in a small pole barn and stole the following items: a blue Miller Spectrum plasma cutter with frayed and electric tape on the cables; a set of four Napa blue and yellow jack stands; a Napa stand-up battery charger; and a Snap On one-half inch drive, 80-tooth soft grip long flex-head ratchet. Total value: $3,224.13.

Authorities ask citizens to call 1-800-255-1122 with any information concerning this crime that could lead to the arrest and incarceration of the person or persons involved. Anyone with information about this or any other felony will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 cash.
