As part of the year-long 30th anniversary celebration of the Pettisville School Foundation, Executive Director Dr. Steve Switzer and the board of trustees recently appointed Jenae (Meck) Lammers to a paid “support services provider” position.
Lammers is a 2000 graduate of Pettisville High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Bluffton University, where she majored in marketing and management of information systems. She has worked in Putnam County for over 10 years in multiple roles that included marketing, public relations, and golf course management.
Lammers returned to her roots in 2012, and worked as marketing manager for Archbold Equipment Company.
“We are pleased to have the foundation benefit of from Jenae’s talents and background. She has a love for Pettisville Schools and her experience in marketing will be invaluable,” Switzer said.
In her position, Lammers will work on the continued growth of the foundation’s endowment to provide ongoing scholarship support for students and initiative grants. Her position has been funded for two years specifically by the Pettisville School Foundation trustees. No general foundation funding will be used.
“As a blackbird alumnus, Pettisville obviously holds a special place in my heart, and I’m thrilled to work towards the goals of a new endowment initiative to support additional scholarships and grants, as well as fostering a presence in the PHS alumni family,” Lammers said.
The foundation’s commemorative anniversary celebration includes a fundraising drive, recognizing the longevity of the foundation’s supporting members, and the unveiling of two murals in the school’s atrium this fall. The atrium was the foundation’s most recent building project, connecting the school’s 1994 addition to the new school that was opened in 2011.
