Nine motorists cited in traffic blitz


Nine citations were issued during a Traffic Enforcement Blitz conducted May 6-7 and May 13-14 by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with proms held at Archbold, Delta, Evergreen, and Wauseon high schools. All citations were for speed violations. Deputies made 27 traffic stops, and also issued 20 warnings to motorists.

The sheriff’s office are conducting a traffic blitz in conjunction with the “Click It or Ticket” campaign through June 4 at various times in various locations throughout the county. Deputies will look for seat belt, distracted driving, speed, and impaired driving violations.

The traffic blitzes are funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
