4-H Connection plans May events

Submitted by Mariah Baker

Fulton 4-H Connection held a meeting on Sunday, May 30, at the Fulton County Extension Office.

Members discussed the fundraiser they are hosting May 13 at the Tractor Supply Company in Wauseon. This is a car wash and a bake sale, and there will be grilled hot dogs. It starts at 9 a.m. and will end by 2 pm.

They also have been working hard on a community map for Wauseon. The members have taken pictures of parks and other fun places to visit in Wauseon. This pamphlet will include a brief description of each place, and list their hours.

Fulton 4-H Connection will have a project day on Saturday, May 20, from 1-5 p.m. There will be stations where some members will provide a demonstration related to their project. Following the demonstrations, members and family members will do the activity at each station and conclude the day with a potluck dinner.

Sam and Nicole Stein provided a demonstration about attending 4-H Camp. The members enjoyed a cake, made and decorated by Nicole.
