Jolyssa Tedrow of Wauseon was recognized as an outstanding student at the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute’s 28th annual student recognition banquet on April 12.
Tedrow will graduate May 6 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in business management. She attained Director’s List honors in 2015 and 2016 and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the international honorary for two-year colleges. She is the recipient of numerous scholarships. She has been active on campus in a number of leadership roles, including serving as a student ambassador and telecounselor for the admissions office and a member of the Director’s Dozen, Hoof-n-Hide Club, Collegiate 4-H and Collegiate FFA.
Tedrow completed an internship with Gerald Grain Center, which is a full-service agronomy, feed, and grain cooperative. She has been offered full-time employment with Gerald Grain following graduation.
Ohio State ATI, located in Wooster, Ohio, is an associate degree granting program within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University. Ohio State ATI is ranked number one in the nation in the granting of associate degrees in agriculture and related sciences.
