Holland man sentenced to 10 years for Fulton County burglaries


A Holland, Ohio was sentenced April 11 in Fulton County Common Pleas Court for burglary.

Richard M. Schoch, 46, previously pleaded guilty to nine counts of burglary. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott Haselman, on or about Sept. 6, 2016 to Sept. 8, 2016, Schoch trespassed in several occupied structures in Fulton County with purpose to commit a criminal offense.

Judge by Assignment Joseph Schmenk of Defiance County Common Pleas Court sentenced Schoch to serve a total of 10 years in prison. The court ordered Schoch to pay court-appointed counsel fees and prosecution costs.
