Camp Palmer closes the gap on pool funding

Here is some modern log rolling - all the agility of old school log rolling, but without the splinters. The young people this summer really enjoyed the new pool at 4-H Camp Palmer.

FAYETTE – The Camp Palmer staff and board are very thankful for the $10,000 grant from Sauder Stewardship Foundation and Allen County Farm Bureau donation of $5,000 to the pool fund. The new pool opened on May 31, 2015.

Currently $350,000 of the $499,000 of the needed funds for project has been raised. 4-H Camp Palmer, Incorporated serves youth from eleven counties in northwest Ohio and many groups from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Thousands of area youth are enjoying this new pool facility, which replaced the original pool built for the camp in 1957.

If a group or family would like to donate, email 4hcamppalmer@gmail.com or call 419-237-2247. 4-H Camp Palmer is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Additional donations or to purchase dedicated bricks are also welcomed to support this project.
