Local Farm Bureau helping wildfire victims

The Fulton County Farm Bureau is coordinating with Ohio Proud Kansas Strong in putting together loads to go out on Thursday, April 6. They are looking for volunteers to transport donations, monetary donations, along with physical items needed.

Wildfires have impacted ranchers.

If you want to make a monetary donation you can either donate a prepaid credit card or checks can be sent to the following: Fulton County Farm Bureau, P.O. Box 53099 Pettisville, OH 43553. Please note Wildfire Relief Fund in memo.

Donations can be dropped off at Gerald Grain Company locations.

Physical items that the ranchers affected by the wildfires need include milk replacer, all-stock feed that can be fed to either cattle or horses, fencing supplies including T-Posts, Fence Ties, Barbed Wire (12 gauge or high ). Equipment needed includes gloves, goggles, safety glasses, post hole digger, T-post pounder, wire stretchers, fencing pliers, dust masks, bandana, sunscreen, chap stick, power tools.

Non-perishable food and bottled water are also being accepted.
