Habitat for Humanity of Fulton County, Ohio is currently accepting applications for either new home construction or repairs made to an existing home partner families, through Wednesday, Sept. 30.
To become a Habitat partner family, the project must be in Fulton County (or the family should be willing to move to the county). Three criteria must be met.
A participant must have a need for the home or the repairs must be critical to life and living improvement.
Habitat participants must be ready to complete Habitat education and pledge to provide sweat equity requirements.
The Habitat resident must be able to service the loan Habitat provides at zero percent interest for the project completed. Payments are kept low because there is no interest charged.
Sometimes the bravest thing to do is to ask for the help needed. Habitat gives a hand up, not a hand out, to people willing to work for what they need. Contact Habitat’s office today for an application at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 419-335-7000.
This round of applying for Habitat housing will be only for a brief period. Once it is closed, applications will not be accepted until the next time Habitat is in search of new partner families. Contact Habitat today, as the application process may close early if maximum applicants allowed are chosen.
