‘MathCounts’ team places first


A team from Wauseon Middle School placed first in the “MathCounts” competition held Feb. 22 in Archbold on Feb. 22, where there were both individual and team competitions. Comprised of two seventh graders and two eighth graders, the Wauseon team now qualifies for the state competition at Columbus State Community College on March 11. The students were coached by Tracy Beck and Lynelle Nofziger.
