Unmask The Night to bring awareness to violent offenses

This Friday, Standing Courageous, Inc. will hold Unmask The Night – an evening of conversation, dinner, cash bar, and a silent auction.

This inaugural event will help bring awareness to the domestic violence epidemic and violent offenses that plague area communities. The money that is raised through this event will be invested into awareness and prevention training, including first responder, human trafficking, and violence in the workplace trainings and for expenses incurred by the Community Engagement Coalition for the passage of the Violent Criminal Offender Registry.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Mulvaney’s Hall at Bunker Bar, 1950 Eber Road, near Toledo Express Airport.The cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets can be purchased online at www.standingcourageous.com, and will not be sold at the door.

Standing Courageous, Inc. was founded on Oct. 1, 2015, by domestic violence survivor Paula Walters. “We are a group of people committed to being a voice for those who are being kept silent or are no longer able to speak for themselves” said Walters.
