The next edition of the Pettisville Adult Agriculture Education Night Series will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m., in the Pettisville High School Ag Room.
A panel of speakers will discuss seed traits, and will include: John King, general manager, Grain and Forage Division, Rupp Seeds; Reid Rice, DuPont Pioneer research scientist, manager of Plenish high oleic soybean breeding program, and overseer of a commodity breeding program at Napoleon research plant; and Jason Fettig, technical agronomist for Asgrow/Dekalb seed and traits for eastern Michigan and northern Ohio.
Questions can be fielded to the speakers to help producers understand what to know about traits in corn and soybeans.
Pettisville Agricultural Education Adult meetings are open to anyone in the area regardless of school district.
