Willy’s Fresh Salsa, a national salsa producer based in Swanton, was recently honored with the 2016 CIFT Excellence Award.
The award is in recognition of exceptional achievement in the development of the food company and the contribution to the industry and state of Ohio.

Dickey brought his business from Las Vegas to Ohio in 2006, and began manufacturing his product at the Northwest Ohio Cooperative Kitchen (NOCK) – a shared kitchen facility which focuses on the development and production of specialty, value added foods. Because of the increased demand, Dickey eventually moved his production to a 12,000 square foot facility in Swanton Township with new, custom processing equipment which has improved production speed and costs. They have grown steadily to match the demand by adding employees, expanding their network, and vastly increasing the number of stores.
