The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office issued a total of 21 citations between two Traffic Enforcement Blitz events in December.
Eight citations were issued during 32 traffic stops during the first blitz, which ran Dec. 9-31. They were for six speed violations, driving under a revoked or suspended license, and no operator’s license. Deputies also issued 35 warnings.
During a blitz held Dec. 19-31, deputies made 42 traffic stops and issued 13 violations, 12 for speed and one for a revoked or suspended license. They also issued 31 warnings.
The traffic blitzes were funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
